Vegas Developers Propose Mississippi Casino

BAYOU CADDY, Mississippi – As reported by the Biloxi Sun Herald: "Developers will apply for a gaming license that could bring a second casino to Hancock County on a site that was home to two previous casinos.

"The Silver Slipper Gambling Hall and Saloon would be located at 5000 South Beach Blvd. The riverboat casino would have 24,000 square feet of gaming space for 750 slot machines and 29 table games, according to the permit application.

"…Paul Alanis, a former top executive with Horseshoe Gaming and Pinnacle Entertainment, is one of the developers, along with Cliff McCarlie, Gene McCarlie Jr. and Eric Nelson, said their attorney, Ben Stone. They own Dynasty Development Group LLC of Las Vegas.

"…The first step for the Silver Slipper is to get site approval from the gaming commission. Dynasty will then have six months to present a development plan to the commission, or surrender its license…"
